Decided to try a big batch of brown rice in the slow cooker. Found directions and followed them perfectly except my timer went off after the three hours cooking time and my rice and water looks exactly like it did when I started.... 😕. I forgot to plug in the slow cooker. A bit of advice to u who might want to try rice in a slow cooker; plugging it in is an important step! All plugged in now and rice should be done at 10:30 - just in time for dinner! 😐
