Dedicated in late April, the Mid-Atlantic Veterinary Cancer Center is the first veterinary hospital in the country solely dedicated to treating cancer in pets! This is an exciting development in the field of veterinary medicine and definitely close to home for those of us that have had a pet go through chemotherapy treatment. While Boise has a great resource in WestVet Animal Emergency & Specialty Center, it will be interesting to see if more veterinary hospitals focused on cancer open up across the USA...
