Dedicated to Chibok Girls When I took a nap before, The moment - TopicsExpress

Dedicated to Chibok Girls When I took a nap before, The moment my eye closes, I dream, Of a wonderland of desert roses, And how enticing to adore, The women folk in opulent poses, But I woke up to a war, That has no end or pauses, I thought I could reason no more, And could think of no any clauses, To express Maiduguri’s gore, For it pained from infinite sources, This succession of flaws, Makes no Fatima nor Hadiza, To once again tour, Her smouldering Gwoza, The Bama girl awaits; Dashing heroes whenever she saw, The rising sun permits, Some of its ray to her prison door, She contemplate, Her sister whether dead or survived the war, And memories escape, How she swept #Chibok with glamour, Tears relent, How could this be no more? It struck a dent, In my heart’s middle core, Never these thoughts persistent, When I took a nap before.
