Deen reflects... Whenever, a celebrity of any stature, e.g., Bro. Stuart Scott (RIP) passes away, many people pour out their love for someone, who can NO longer hear them. In the 21st Century, with social media; most of us NEVER send the celebs that we admire for whatever reasons, a positive FB message or like on their posts; a positive Tweet / Retweet; a heart on their IG.... More importantly, MOST of us NEVER take; make the time to tell those, who we have known ALL of our lives how much they mean to us; and the positive effects they have (had) on us; let alone do so with regularity. Yet, when the person physically dies, then we often go overboard publishing our love for those, who can NOT and will NEVER hear our proclamations. If the shoe does not fit YOU, then do NOT put it on. Reflecting. When said loved one dies; people, who were trained to zero in on that guilt, as I have been; working at insurance companies; funeral homes; cemeteries; exploit that guilt and cause the grieving bereaved to OVER spend in an attempt to show the living, who really do NOT care, how much YOU (allegedly) cared for the deceased, who can NO longer FEEL anything. Some of us will read this status and take; make time to tell our loved ones, how important they are to us; and more importantly, positively SHOW our loved ones, how much they mean to us. And many, maybe MOST of us will remain, as retarded = underdeveloped, as I am. If I have to question how YOU feel about me; and if YOU have to question, how I feel about YOU, then we BOTH may NEED to fix that. Do better. Be better.
