Deep West Texas, you have restored my faith in humanity! After crashing at a buddys house I woke up restless, but did not want to wake them up. Seeing as I only live about a mile and a half away I decided to walk it. After all, in the major cities I have lived in walking a couple miles was never a big deal, though it is incredibly uncommon for folks to walk in these parts. Three different trucks stopped to offer me a ride. Three. Granted, the fact I was carrying a guitar with me probably made me seem very un-threatening, but still. Three folks offering me a ride was very refreshing. I was in the mood for walking though, so denied them. Think i hurt one of the guys feelings a bit. Yeah OD, for still feeling like home despite the influx of twice the population!
