Deep bows to Sage Mahosadha for providing a revolutionary dharma - TopicsExpress

Deep bows to Sage Mahosadha for providing a revolutionary dharma talk tonight. I sensed as a community, we moved a step closer towards embracing our collective come back story. This was a good realization for me. Listed below is the passage Sage referenced in tonights talk, and below that, is a link to the online article written by Ta-Nehisi Coates titled, The Case for Reparations. Be forewarned, this piece is a lengthy read, but a great one nevertheless. Admittedly, I am still working to get through this well written article one paragraph at a time :-) In gratitude, Kevin All collective healing processes that I know of include elements of what might be called confession, recollection and accountability, dissolution or management of narcissistic guilt, and opening to a more inclusive reality through what is variously called reconciliation, forgiveness, grace, absolution, Beginning Anew, and commitment to learning from instead of repeating the egregious wrongs of the past. -Mushim Patricia Ikeda
