Deep fried pork chunks topped with a Madame Sara @madame_sara based pikliz. Soooo delicious. Try one today and you wont regret it. Serves 10. Slow braise pork shoulder about 5lbs in traditional Haitian recipes: 1 cup sour orange, 2 whole scotch bonnet pepper, 1/2 cup white vinaiger, 4 heads of garlic, salt to taste. In addition to the basic ingredients, I love to add 1 bunch of fresh thyme, 1 bunch of whole scallions, 3 bay leaves and a couple pepper cloves. Let meat braise under low heat until fork tender. Then I deep fry pork until golden crisp on the outside. Serve with red beans and rice, pikliz made with Madame Sara gourmet sauce. For pikliz, shred white cabbage, carrots, red onions and mix with @madame_sara gourmet hot sauce. Katy Andre
