Deep moisture tries to head back into the area today. It will attempt to push a line of 1”+ of moisture close to Pittsburgh this afternoon. Storms will try and fire today with the heating of the day. It’s possible for some strong to marginally severe storms, but organization will remain low. The father north you go, the less likely to see the storms. Any of these storms can bring gusty winds and heavy rain, which can lead to flooding. The greatest area for the heavy rainfall will be to the south and west. Some hail is possible but less likely. As we lose the heating of the day, the activity will decrease and the clouds will break up a bit. Showers cannot be ruled out any place tonight. A storm can fire but it isn’t as likely for them to be strong. The area targeted for the storms will primarily be to the southwest tonight.
