Deep thinking and saving the world one Facebook post at a time, right? I write that with a lot of humor, but, on a serious note, what do you think is the problem with America politically or generally? I hear that we need more parties, that special interest groups need to be stemmed, that term limits need to be introduced, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Do you think that the biggest problem might just be the collective mindset of the people? One of the things that has bothered me lately is the lack of interest, the many distractions, the entitlement posturing, and the rebuke of personal responsibility by those in power or in positions of influence. The whole notion of being responsible for our own actions and facing reality has been replaced with that person just never had a chance arguments. We all have scrums in life, nor can we pick our affluence when we enter the world, but arent we also a product of our choices? Isnt freedom wholly connected to holding tightly to our own responsibilities?
