Genesis 1:3-4 1:3: And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 1:4: And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. The world is covered with darkness...God separated day and night.According to His choice darkness will b set apart.Darkness cant be with light.If we go to the Israel people when Jesus was leading them to the earthly Canaan..Exodus 10 :22-23 When Moses raise his hands the darkness covered the Egyptian people but the Israelite were in the light.The Egyptian people couldnt see anything since they were chasing the Israelite..the darkness couldnt see the light..no-matter it was powerful to destroy the Israelite plans.But God was there... Isiah 9:2-This is the separation between old testament and New testament.Jesus has brought the light for our future,an everlasting life will be in an everlasting light.Those who have faith in Him will see the Light.As the Isiah prophesied they look and look but they could not see...what a great prophecy.The people who are not in light cant see the light of this world.Prophet Israel is talking about the New testament Israel people.
