Deer Hunting Today . I bet you wish you were here Cate Beech , Snow and 20 degrees , a 300 MPH wind . All you need is 2 pairs of wool socks , wool under ware , wool shirt , my 1952 wool army pants , LL bean wool coat , insulated boots with heat pads, wool gloves and my camo ski mask and off to the tree I go. The hunt started well , until the 300mph wind kept blowing me out of my tree stand, so I unlaced my boots a little and , tied them to the tree stand , now I know what a kite feels like. (lol) It must have been to cold for the deer , but I did see 2 squirrels , they were in the top of a tree with their suitcases trying to catch a ride south with a flock of geese going over. I am pretty sure at one point I saw a group of penguins go by , but I did not pay that much attention to them , because their not really legal to hunt in Wis. . When I took my camera out to take these pictures and opened it up, it must have been a little cold , because on the menu screen it said ARE YOU NUTS but after I made a campfire and warmed it up I was able to get a couple of pictures. Oh well , no deer today , but I will be in the stand tomorrow :) And to think your stuck in AZ. and that 90 degree heat , Oh well , not everyone can be lucky and live in Wis. :)
