The report alleged that “militant Buddhist monks” were readying themselves to launch a movement in the Chiitagong Hill Tracts region in line with Myanmar’s 696. After undergoing training in arms, Buddhist monks involved in this movement returned from Myanmar to start their activities for the movement, it added. It claimed the pictures of trained Buddhist monks (attached) equipped with sophisticated arms were collected from training camps run by 696.
