*Defeating temptation* Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. (2 Timothy 2:22) No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (Psalm 119:37) Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21) “I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman. (James 4:7) Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Ephesians 6:17) *Realize your vulnerability* So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! (1 Corinthians 10:12)
