Defense Budget: There are those who have said we should take part of the defense budget and put it towards education or anywhere else. A very noble idea. I would never cut defense funding. Being a superpower comes from being able to park my newly built warship just outside your waters because you said something indirectly directed at me OR it is building another military base within striking distance of your country because you act like you want to be a threat to me. Life is no more complicated than a school playground.
