Defense Department, Foreign Affairs and Malacañang , your attention please. To the Defense Secretary, dont be an idiot. The 12 fighter planes you ordered from Korea, of which ONLY TWO will be delivered NEXT YEAR, are too vulnerable to Chinese naval anti-aircraft and cannot effectively defend our EEZ. Thats $44M down the drain each when shot down. Even the Koreans dont trust their own warplane and ordered the US built F35 fighters. But China lack technology for an effective defense against smart missiles. Advanced long range mobile land based missiles are readily available from the US. The missiles are affordable at less than $1M each, excluding missile launchers. Maybe missiles are too offensive but they are effective and a deterrent specially if you publicly announce the acquisition. Do your homework! To the Foreign Affairs secretary, quit filing diplomatic protests to the Chinese if you dont know how to talk tough. The more you talk nicely, the tougher they take their stance because theyre thugs. I am guessing you also knew that? Mr. PNoy, time to stand up to the Chinese and start talking tough buddy boy. Insist that no rich or powerful entity will harness the resources of your impoverish constituents; that you will not be tolerant like Vietnam; that any installation within our EEZ will be deemed an invasion of Philippine territory which deserves a military response. The thugs know that our mutual defense treaty with the US is something to contend with but you have to talk tough buddy boy. Please share and share para makarating sa mababait nating public servants.
