Definitely a doctored accident report. No law enforcement officer would EVER move a damaged vehicle from the scene of an accident...ESPECIALLY if it was a hit and run ON police parking area. Theres enough poo doo eeking between the lines to fertilize 3 states. The Major made a major mistake, damaged police vehicle during his (unauthorized) personal trip to Baton Rouge then made up a lie to cover his tracks. What did the Major hit? Was he involved in a Hit and Run? Was he intoxicated at the time the damage occured? Where is the missing quarter panel? Who took it off? Who else at Lafayette PD knew about the accident and are also guilty in the cover up? Who is going to pay for the damages? Why is the Major allowed to retire with full benefits after malfeasance in office by filing a false accident report
