Definition of Discipleship 98. Discipleship is the environment of brokeness, where the new testament believer is effectively prepared to partake of the commonwealth of Israel, as he/she is broken by sanctification from Jacob to worm Jacob, and finally transformed from within to be an effective part of the commonwealth of Israel. (1) Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.Isaiah 41:14. Note: At salvation, I became part of the commonwealth of Israel, but sanctification is the process of discipleship, where I am set apart and prepared to walk in the commonwealth of Israel with steps that are acceptable to God. -Discipleship through sanctification, through the help of the Holy Ghost, is the place where the new testament believer is prepared to function to full capacity in the commonwealth of Israel. -Discipleship is the place in Christ, where the Gentiles partakes of the commonwealth of Israel even though he/she is not a Jew. The New Testament believer in Christ, through discipleship, is the partaker of the Commonwealth of Israel in the following ways: (1) courage from fear which the Holy Ghost guarantees. (2) A divine word of honour to help, guaranteed by Gods strength of will power. (3) And a divine introduction in three distinct ways namely: (1) The Lord (2) Thy redeemer (3) the Holy one of Israel. -The New Testament believer in Christ the partaker of the Commonwealth of Israel (1). As supplanting Jacob becomes worm Jacob; worm Jacob is the symbol of brokenness. So is the new testament believer broken by discipleship for a proper walk in the commonwealth of Israel, where the Holy Ghost helps us manifest the sound mind. *Bible passage for Supplanting Jacob: (2) And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. The believer in Christ as a part of the Commonwealth of Israel even though born a Gentile, but through Christ by 2 Corinthians 5:17 can approach God as (1) The Lord (2) Thy redeemer (3) the Holy one of Israel, because Ephesians 2:14 middle wall of partition between us was torn apart when Christ died and the veil of the temple in Matthew 27:51 was torn, giving the Gentile access to God under the new testament! - The New Testament believer in Christ the partaker of the Commonwealth of Israel (6). The magnetic pull of the blood of Jesus has drawn the Gentile so close, that we are joint heirs with Christ.
