Degrees of separation. Daily we hear of people dying as a result - TopicsExpress

Degrees of separation. Daily we hear of people dying as a result of terrorist attacks, of car crashes, of violence. Often they are just names and photos in the media. They are not related to us and we go on as normal. I knew soon after word of the downing of MH17 came through that good friends Kayleen Vallance and Margaret Vallance were concerned for relatives on board. Their worst fears were realised when the list of names revealed cousin Howard and his wife Susan Horder from Albany Creek were confirmed as being on the flight. This makes the incident far more personal when it affects people close to you. Our prayers go out to Kayleen and Margaret, their families and friends and especially the families of Howard and Susan. May Howard and Susan rest in peace knowing they are loved and missed by their families and now extended friends group.
