Deidres Law #1 - It is required that any eye witness to a homicide, hit and run, or any other crime where trauma is clearly indicated, remains at the scene to administer aid and/or call for assistance to the victim. Non compliance is punishable by a fine of up to $10,000.00 and up to 7 years in prison. #2 - There is no statute of limitations for any homicide, including hit and run that results in death. #3 - Furthermore there is no statute of limitations for deliberate malfeasance in office by a public official, who by that action(s) covers up a crime and/or protects a wrong doer. #4 - Malfeasance would include allowing witness(es) and possible suspects to be together during interrogation and thus to vouch for each other in clear violation of good police practices. These changes to law are proposed in memory of Deidre Week , the daughter of David and Brenda Week, of Vesper, Wisconsin. A young girl taken from this world by the actions of others, in hope that by preventing future such situations, that there can in some small way be Justice for Deidre .
