Naturally the News Journal uses those grades to argue for more Vision Network, Rodel-style education reforms like the ongoing (need I say thuggish?) DOE attempt to take over six Wilmington elementary schools. The reality is that--even if you accept the US Chamber of Commerce as an objective evaluator--these stats are a complete CONDEMNATION of Rodel-style education reform and high-stakes testing. Thats because weve spent millions more on testing computers than on technology for teaching. Digging deeper into the report, Delaware got a D for the states academic achievement since 2007.
