Delhi University flags off its Gyanodaya Express taking close to 900 students and teachers to the North East Indian states on Thursday, December 18, 2014. Taking inspiration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s push to the North-East region, the trip, from December 18 to 29, aims to highlight the contribution of the North-East states in the national movement. The trip will cover Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
