Delhi: class 8 student, traffic cop among four raped in 24 hours: A 17-year-old girl was gangraped and three otherwomen, including a Delhi traffic police head constable, raped in four separate incidents reportedfrom different parts in the city in the past 24-hours. A 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three men, all known to her, at a restaurant in northeast Delhi’s Jafarabad on Thursday evening. Police arrested all the threeaccused who were identified as Umar, 21, Feroz, 23 and Salman, 22. Umar is said to be the neighbour of the victim while the other two are hisfriends. The accused had threatened the victim that they would kill her if she informed anybody about the incident. A case of gangrape and threatening the victim was registered at the Jafarabad police stationagainst the accused. A police officer said the victim, a Class 8 student of a government-run school, lives in the same area. On Thursday evening, she had gone to the local market where she met Umar. “Umar lured her to a restaurant in Jafarabad where his four friends werealready waiting for him. Three of them took turns to rape her and when she resisted, they beat her up. Later, they dropped her outside the restaurant, threatening her not to inform anybody about the incident,” said the police officer, quoting the victim’scomplaint. The victim reached home and told her parents about it. A call to the police control room was made by the girl after which she was sent to a government hospital where her medicalexamination confirmed gang rape, the officer said. The second rape was also reported from northeast Delhi. A 13-year-old girl was raped by her neighbour when she was sleeping at her house in Seemapuri. The incident happened in the early hours of Friday and the accused, Imran, 30 was arrested later in the day. The victim, a Class 7 student, was sleeping in her room when Imran barged into the house while two of his friends kept a watch. Imran was arrested from his house after the police recorded the victim’s statement. His two friends were also arrested, police said. A 33-year-old woman, a head constable with Delhi traffic police, lodged an FIR at Sagarpur police station in southwest Delhi, accusing her landlord of raping her for the past 3-4 years. The accused landlordwas identified as Maharaj and the woman cop lives at his house on rent in Dayalpur area. A 27-year-old woman was raped at a flat in Saket by aman who had promised to provide her a job. While one Virender Kumar has been arrested, the main accused and the flat owner,is still untraceable. >>>>{Aamir}>>>>
