Deliberate and systematic steps should be taken to inculcate proper consciousness to the Kenyan masses and to educate them in the responsibilities of good citizenship. Mere education is no proof of consciousness in a community, though its a prerequisite thereof. Persons who cannot do their own thinking cannot make up a reliable people, whatever enthusiasm they may show for a cause, because their thoughts and emotions lack stability. Most Kenyans, especially fanatics of politics, have a weakness for catch words; they are prone to think with their hearts rather than with their brains. Any slogan, any rhetoric by Politicians can lure them away, any juggler can fool them. They thoughtlessly buy all the avalanche of polemics sold by their political Baba!
