Delilah Update: Delilah made it to her foster home yesterday. She is very scared as expected, and preferred to initially hide in her foster Moms closet. Last night though, she did join the family and all the other dogs & cats in the home, and hung out on the sofa watching TV. Yesterday she had to be carried outside to do her business, but this morning she has started going out the door and down the deck stairs on her own, baby steps :-) Her foster Mom, Ann, shared that her own pets are definitely teaching Delilah the ropes and she seems to find comfort in their companionship. As you can see by the second photo, Delilah has a very large, nasty looking hot spot on her face. It has already been checked by the vet and Ann is treating it.
