Deliverance from financial devourer Malachi 3:7-11 : Joshua 7:1-26 Financial lack is one of the worst affliction that attack a believer. If one is suffering from this lack, you can barely eat three square meal in a day, better put you eat from hand to mouth. It can happen to you whether you are a farmer, lawyer, nurse, doctor, teacher, business man, etc. The affliction makes one to owe huge debts. These people suffer from scarcity, many have financial misfortune, losses, theft, money going to cover for for sickness and unnecessary burdens. Many believers wonder why this kind of affliction happens to them despite their fasting and prayers. It is not just only about fasting and prayers, because if it was, then the unbelievers will not get money. It not only about Tithe and offering, this is because, a lot of people give offerings yet they do not prosper. If you are faithful in your offerings and tithe and you are following the Biblical financial principles of Galatians 6:7 (you reap what you sow,) you are engaged in fasting and prayers yet you are living in scarcity and continue harassment from the devourer. Then we need to see if you are not under a curse. To have a financial curse, one must have taken what belongs to another or to God. Malachi 3:8-9 The prophet agfhhsen can a man rob God? Many people who are under a curse, stole what they are not suppose to steal. I recall two man who stole from a church long time ago, today one is blind and the other one has been sick, without a wife, children or house at 62years. A whole nation can be under a curse, a family can be under a curse and an individual can be under a curse. No matter long it might have been, a curse remains under something is done about it. In Joshua 7:1-26, ACHAN state something that brought ruin to the whole of Israel. Apart from stealing, another way to be under a curse is to enter a covenant with idols, thereby trading their financial wealth for power or children or other things. Another way to be under a curse is for a righteous man to pronounce a curse on you. 1kings 17:1-2. Elijah pronounced famine and it was so. Breaking a covenant can be another way of incurring a curse. In 2Samuel 21:1-9. It was Saul that broke the covenant they had with the Gibeonites by killing them, that was why there was famine. My prayers today is that the yoke will be broken and the Lord shall open the flood gates of heaven and pour down blessings on us today. Repent from anything you did that cursed what happen. Rebuke the financial devourer.
