Delivery Man (2013) Plot: Comedy directed by Ken Scott and starring Vince Vaughn. David Wozniak (Vaughn) is into his forties but still an eternal teenager, he owes a lot of money and isnt very successful. But his lifes just going to get even more eventful... after donating sperm a number of years before, he has now been approached by the fertility clinic and told that 142 of his 533 biological children would like to meet their biological dad. Not only that, his current girlfriend, Emma (Cobie Smulders), is also pregnant, yet feels David isnt mature enough to be a father. Review: Once you know the concept of this movie, its pretty much straight forward. Basically, its about a man who donates sperm for the money and ends up fathering 533 children but he chooses to keep it secret which causes a law suit because the kids want to find there father. I thought that it was going to be a silly comedy but it turned out to be quite heart warming and interesting. Vince Vaughn took the role quite seriously and brought some humanity to his character. I liked the way that he treated each one of his children as individuals and how he helped them in there personal situations. The storyline was put together well and the concept was original and funny in parts. Enjoyable! Round-Up: Vince Vaughn surprised me in this movie because he usually plays characters that get on my nerves after a while like in The Internship and The Watch. I liked his lawyer Chris Pratt, who I have seen in quite a few movies lately. He usually plays a drunk, very well, but in this movie he seems to have his head on his shoulders. Anyway, I personally enjoyed the mixture of humour and seriousness which had a deep undertone. Budget: $26million Worldwide Gross: $51million I recommend this movie to people who are into there drama/comedies, about a sperm donor fathering 533 kids. 5/10
