Dell Inspiron 2200 15 (40 GB, Intel Celeron M, 1.4 GHz) Here is a spares or repairs Dell Inspiron 2200. Although a few years old now, this is a nice basic laptop for a starter. Although pictured as working after around 45 minutes of use it appears that the fan is not working and shuts off due to overheating. Once cooled down though will restart until it reaches temperature again. This appears to be the only fault as it runs Win 7 fine with 1.2GB RAM and 40GB HDD. The screen has no dead pixels and the charging port is working too along with the charger. The left mouse button does need to be quite firmly pushed when used but if you tap the touchpad instead, then it is fine. Item is sold for parts or repair only so cannot be returned for any reason but will be sent complete with all components with WIN 7 SP1 and MS Office 2010 preinstalled for evaluation purposes. Regarding parts, there is a WIN XP COA although is unreadable, one of the little rubber feet is missing on the bottom, CD-RW/DVD ROM is present and working, 1 x RAM module, keyboard fine with no keys missing, screen as mentioned, charger, clips and covers present and complete, battery holds some charge although due to the overheating I cannot tell how long for, wireless working and all ports sending/receiving data.
