Delta Restricts Movement for LG Polls Delta State Government has announced the restriction of movement between the hours of 8.00am and 3.00pm on Saturday, October 25, in view of the Local Government elections slated for that date. The State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan who disclosed this during a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders meeting on Thursday explained that the restriction was to enable voters carry out their civic duty and ensure a peaceful atmosphere for a free and fair election. Governor Uduaghan added that top government officials were not excluded from the order but were all expected to abide by the order, advising them to go and cast their votes in their locality and return home.
