Deltas Golden Paisley is one of those once in a lifetime horses that will just do anything and everything you ask her to do. This mare is EASY to ride for a complete and total beginner, or great for an accomplished horsemen. This two time APHA Top Ten World Champion Reining mare is an extremely talented reining horse with a very big stop and nice, correct, fast and consistent spin. She is VERY easy to change leads on and is extremely responsive in her circles. Easy enough for a complete and total beginner to ride, talented enough for an open rider. Besides reining Paisley has competed successfully in Cowboy Mounted Shooting with much success taking a 3rd in the APHA Amateur Class at the 2013 Scully Western Regional Championships in Las Vegas and also securing 3 Wins at numerous different California Shoots. She is easy to shoot on, fast and loves to do her job. Paisley is also an excellent Cowboy Challenge mare and has competed in multiple EXCA and AHCA cowboy challenges with excellent results. She is brave, willing and honest with the obstacles. Crosses waters, tarps, walks through anything, drags logs, whatever you need her to do shes willing. Paisley has also been roped off of a few times and is nearly ready to compete as a heel horse with a little more training. She is smart tracks the cows well and is not afraid of the rope at all. She is also a fabulous working cow horse, cutter and team sorting/penning mare. She is quick, agile and reads a cow very well. Paisley has also been in several reenactments including the 2014 Del Mar National Horse Show Night Of The Horse Paisley participated in robbing a stagecoach guns ablazing with a posse of horses and a stagecoach pulled with two big belgians; all of this in front of a crowd of a few thousand people!! This mare has also competed in Halter!! She has an APHA Reserve Championship in Open Aged Mares Halter on her record. Besides all of that Paisley is a dream to ride on the trail. Completely bomb proof, NOT spooky will go in the front, back, middle, she doesnt care. Doesnt kick or bite at her trail riding buddies either. Shes just an all around easy, calm, great, great horse.
