Democracy like salvation is not absolute. To have acquired democracy like being reborn in the blood of christ does not put to death injustices of the past nor temptations of the future to lure one to his old ways. Therefore I tell you both need constant guard one from the blind plague of greed and selfishness that we may not become the very tyrants we subdued and overcame thru generations of Conquest. While the other requires daily submission to God in favor of your will, your desires and ambitious so that it is He not us who is glorified. The is a great misconception that democracy is absolute that now that it is achieved the is no more to aspire to, that accountability and its lack can be forgiven to those who ought to lead. Surely now that we are free we must stop singing songs about our past and start building a future. Moreso the believers in the faith we were called are quick to find solace in repetition and Sunday rituals, so comfortable has the gospel become that sacrifice seems only to be in the 2hours of silence as the minister speaks, then we pray for healing and miracles and wonder why the elite rule over our leaders and not us as the people who put them there......... before you speak against such acts you must question your involvement in their Retention or evolution.
