Democracy, the rule of law and development are impossible to - TopicsExpress

Democracy, the rule of law and development are impossible to enforce in Nigeria due to the extremely complex nature of the ethnic nationals (where most of the people do not share their political, social, cultural and historical identity in common). This is why ever more I fully support an immediate breakup of the artificial country. Nigeria was never created by the British thugs to succeed. It was created to remain in stagnation and confusion (and that was their true objective). In 1905 the so called Scandinavian Union split into two nations (Norway and Sweden) and the 1992 Czechoslovakia split into the (Czech Republic and Slovakia) and these people are living in peace today in their respective nations and more and more countries around Europe and the world are opting for divorce (Scotland, Flander, Catalonia, Padania, Bavaria are some perfect examples). This proves it is possible for many countries to divorce into NATION STATES. Why are Nigerians not asking for this? Independent successor states can be achieved in peaceful, democratic order (via negotiation) as long as there are moral and legal ground to do so, if impossible then, the people can make their unilateral declaration. The most economically prosperous regions, states of Nigeria, have long resented financing the unproductive regions (predominately Northern Nigeria) and I’m quite sure that secession will bring an end to this legalized stealing. The vast majorities of Nigerians do not understand the very concept of nationhood, democracy, peace, prosperity and dignity, let alone advocating for their freedom. Self-determination for a people is a basic human right which has been enshrined into the UNITED NATION CHARTERS and is a right being denied to us in Nigeria. A people has a right to live as they see fit without interference from corrupt outsiders. -Oguega Eziza Igodomigodo.
