Demon demon, go away Though I know you’ll come back On another night or day I see right through What you come to do Towards you I’ll never have A different thing to say You try to tempt What to me isn’t bait You try to chew off pieces of me That have already been ate My scars from your kind Have been known since childhood Come and go all you want I stand where I have always stood I hear you make noises Close by, in my room While trying to scare me As if you’re a new gloom I sense your frustration I am frustrated as well Its because you wont give in To how I wont fall under your demonic spell Sometimes you linger before you paralyze me Sometimes you come on so fast But its cause of you I am stronger No matter how long in my presence you will last The nonbelievers are like highschoolish rebels Why don’t you go bother them instead It’d be easy to get to their heart and soul When God isn’t even in their head You’re a fool when you come near me I sense you getting worse and worse these days Its kind of a compliment to see That now only the stronger ones come to me But it doesn’t matter what you do Nor how long you stay I don’t need a night light anymore when you stop by Cause I belong to someone else, whether night or day
