Dempsey here, folks. Ive been having the most amazing adventure today! I moved from the Pet Palace Columbus Airport (a beautiful kennel/daycare where they took GREAT care of me) all the way to Kansas! Yep, kind of like Toto but in reverse. I got to see Indy, Terre Haute, St. Louis, Columbia, Overland Park, Kansas City and lots of corn and soybeans. Id sing America The Beautiful if I could! Im SO excited to get to my foster home where Ill have other dogs to play with and a huge fenced yard to explore. Ill write more once Ive settled in. It probably wont be long before Im ready for one last move to my forever home! Thank you to Kaylee and Tina for visiting me at Pet Palace and walking me while I was there. Big smooches to Kaylee, Kris, Starla, Robyn and Julie for taking many hours out of your Saturday to give a guy a lift across 4.25 states! The volunteers of SMW are just the nicest folks. I lived the last seven of my 10 years outside in a pen in Ohio, but Im having no trouble getting used to this indoor stuff. As you can see, Im a great rider in the car, too. SO glad to have this opportunity to spend the rest of my life as an indoor boy! Thank you all for supporting seniors like me and SMW who helps us. Love, Dempsey
