Den Norske Atlanterhavskomité, Our Norwegian Chapter, is hosting their 50th annual Security Conference, Leangkollen on the 2nd & 3rd 2015 with the theme “THE BALANCE OF POWER”. Key Speakers: Prime Minister Erna Solberg, NATO Amb. Alexander Vershbow, & State Secretary of Defence Marcus Ramtala (#Finland), This year’s conference will discuss NATO- Russia relations with particular emphasis on the conflict in Ukraine and the implications of the crisis for NATO and its allies. In the last session the discussion will shift focus towards the diverse threats in the current security environment, and how to handle these threats in practice. The conference commences at The Norwegian Nobel Institute before continuing at Leangkollen Conference Center in Asker outside of #Oslo. The Norwegian Atlantic Committee hashosted the #Leangkollen Conference each year since 1965. Due to the high demand and limited amount of space the conference will be closed and participation is restricted to invitees only. Invitations will be distributed in January.
