Denial! What does it mean??? it is a relative concept! Denial., for most part is used to protect us from harsh realities, & those most adept at using the defensive mechanism are trying hard to preserve their sense- of self/identity. They dont want to stir up the chaos that exists both in our personal, social, political etc lives. These ones, I extend to you, not as accusation or blame, but as simple matter to help expand our co-existence & to make this world a better place for all. Here, I will bring in the analogy of the genocide of the Palestinians ( as well, all who have been afflicted by devastating austerity measure - aka: Poverty - we take it an hr at a time, there is no choice, there is no room for denial) We in Gaza, including all occupied suffering & We in poverty do not have the privilege of Denial ( we are like sponges, raw nerves exposed to the suffering - no way we can get around that madness without support & empowerment: Know matter how good you think what you do for charity shall ease your guilt. I thank you, nonetheless, & understand much, you are trying what you know best. This chaotic world did not offer us the guidelines. Just one more thing & I will draw on Gaza here & all occupied & suffering peoples of austerity - for these ones, the least of our brothers & sisters....... (who are actually the most) .I understand you have no choice when it comes to denial. That is not even an option for those without resources to fight back & defend themselves, their loved ones. I wish someday, we will understand the difference between that originates with those who have the power & resources to den. One day they may understand. Those without resource, do not have this privilege. There is no room for the thick skinned where we see slaughter of innocents whether in occupied territories or in the streets of the homeless.
