Denis Shackel Travel Award for Excellence in Education and Training India’s first travel for transformation initiative – IFT – has launched the aforementioned award to encourage participants from education and training related fields to apply for its flagship annual travel program - Seven Pitstops For Change – to be held in December 2014. The idea behind this journey is to get 40 travel enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds – art, music, design, healthcare, theater, business and education among other fields- for a 15 day journey in India. The group will undergo an inspiring journey with seven pitstops filled with several unimaginable life experiences – be it living among Indian rural artisans, mirroring the life of yogis, transforming lives for real and introspecting on future life in the backdrop of an inspiring shrine – such that the participants leave India with a new born vision, impact and passion to lead a meaningful life.
