Denise Spangler Baatz this is the cookie recipe I used, only I use vanilla bean paste too, and for the filling I use the traditional cooked filling, the one with the recipe was with marshmallow fluff, and I like the other one better Margaret Annie Boden: 1 cup sugar 2/3 cup (11 tablespoons) butter 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon almond extract 2 large eggs 3 cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour 2/3 cup milk March 4 at 6:58am · Like Denise Spangler Baatz just cream the butter and sugar together, then add the rest ingredients down to the flour and milk, add 1 cup flour, then 1/3 milk, and continue until mixed. Drop on cookie sheet, bake at 375-400 for 7-8 min. cool and fill. Makes 20
