Another small hint; How did Nebuchadnezzar treat Daniel after the interpretation of the dream? December 12 at 8:50am · Like Dennis McCullough Nebuchadnezzar, the king and founder of Babylon, had a disturbing dream. The wise men, also called the magicians, or magi, had a book of dreams that they used to interpret the dreams of the very superstitious people of Babylon. This dream was different so the king wanted to know that the interpretation was real, that the magi knew what they were talking about, so he demanded the magi to tell him the dream and then what it meant. When the chief of the magi said that no one could do that, in a rage Nebuchadnezzar ordered the magi to be cut into pieces. Daniel had recently completed the three years of training so he is now a magi. The chief told all of the magi that they were to die the next morning. Daniel told the chief that the God of Israel could tell the king the dream. When Daniel was taken before the king he told him that the one true God had told him the dream and what it means. Nebuchadnezzar was so impressed that he fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel and made Daniel the chief of the magi. Daniel taught the magi about the one true God and taught them that the stone that was cut from the mountain without hands is the coming Messiah and taught them what signs to look for that will lead them to the King that will save the world. The descendants of the magi saw and understood the signs over 500 years later and followed the bright light in the West from modern day Iraq to Jerusalem to find and worship the Son of Yahweh, Yeshua (Jesus in English).
