Dennis Ray Cochran 69 of Ripley passed away suddenly on November 25, 2014 at his home. He was born March 14, 1945 in West Virginia a son of the late Harry and Jewell Halstead Cochran. He was an Army Veteran and member of the American Legion Post 20 in Charleston. He was a member of the Boilermakers Union Local 667. He was loved by many and will be remembered for his love of his cars. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Dianne M. Cochran; daughter Denise Freshour and her husband Bryant of Fairplain; son Darrin Cochran and his wife Tabby of Hartford, WV; sisters Marcelene Starcher and Glennis Farmer; grandchildren Dylan Freshour, Issac Freshour, Ethan Cochran and Keghan Cochran. Also survived by his three cats and companions Soxx, Buster and Ollie. Funeral Service will be 1 pm Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will be in the Emma Chapel Cemetery, Liberty.
