Based on 6,500 reported dog bites between 2012 and 2013, the top five biting breeds* in the Denver area are: 1) Labs 2) German Shepherds 3) Pit Bulls 4) Chihuahuas 5) Bulldogs *Breeds in these cases are not official, and in most cases, the dog was identified by either a victim or animal-control officers.
