Denver Flood and Fire impressed with episode of Undercover Boss going behind the scenes with Belfor, the largest Property Restoration company in America. Denver Flood and Fire is a locally owned and operated business and we have no aspiration to be a large company like Belfor; however, the behind the scenes look at what Denver Flood and Fire does every day as a company is beautifully depicted in this television series available on Netflix. Im convinced that the people who do our kind of work come in 2 breeds: 1) The ones who want to capitalize on the misfortune of others and 2) The ones who sincerely care about people who are experiencing loss. It was nice to see the powerful transformation of the CEO of a large restoration company when he literally put himself in the shoes of the workers who make this industry tick. It was like a fantasy Ive dreamed about come to life to watch this happen. I can only hope that more CEOs of Property Restoration companies will have the courage to get on the front-lines and allow the impact of the type of dedication it takes to be a technician in this industry to change the way they conduct their business (and life, for that matter).
