They have asked each Veteran to take some time with a student group and speak about their experiences in Normandy in 1944. This will be taking place on June 6th. We’d like to remind you that this may be a tiring and emotional day for the Veterans. We will have a quiet space for them to relax if they need to take a break from the day’s events. Normandy Hotels: In order to get you as close as possible to Juno Beach, EF Tours have developed a relationship with the P&V chain of vacation properties. As you’ve probably already heard, these are different from your average hotel room as there are detached house style rooms, featuring kitchenettes. It is typical for vacation properties, rooms will not be made up each day. So, towels will be used for the duration of your time in Normandy, and if groups choose to use the kitchenettes to prepare meals or snacks, groups will be responsible for washing the dishes (dish soap is provided). o For some properties, breakfast will be provided in the rooms for the duration of the stay (example: Large Cereal Boxes, juice, etc.) o Most rooming configurations will consist of bedrooms plus beds in the common area. Rooms will be inspected Each Day by Cadet Staff to ensure they are in proper order. Capt Parker
