Department Of Information Technology Government Of Sikkim Employment Notice Applications are invited from Local candidates to fill up 2 (Two) post of Drivers in the Department of Information Technology under the pay band-1 Rs 5200-20200 and grade pay, Rs. 2400/- plus other allowance admissible under the Sikkim Government Service Rules. Reservation for the same is as follows: SL.NO. CATEGORY SEATS 1. BHUTIA LEPCHA 01 2. SCHEDULE TRIBE 01 TOTAL 02 Candidates fulfilling the above eligibility conditions need only apply. 1. A Class IV Examination pass. 2. Must be able to converse in one of the language viz. Nepali, Bhutia, Lepcha or Limboo and must have the culture and tradition of S Sikkim. 3. Sikkim Subject Certificate of Identification as the case may be. 4. Schedule Tribe Certificate as the case may be. 5. Valid Employment Card in case of un-employed Candidate. 6. Valid Driver’s License. 7. Age limit 18-30 years as on 30th May 2012. In case of Schedule Tribe 5 year’s age relaxation is relaxed up to 50 years in the case of in-service regular Government Servant. The upper age limit Government /NHPC and other Central Government establishment or undertakings in the State of Sikkim or MR/Adhoc/Substitute/Contract/Work Charge basis. In-Service candidate should apply through proper channel. Application should be accompanied by attested copies of school certificate or testimonial along with Birth Certificate, address of candidate for communication and contact number. Eligible candidates will be issued a calling letter. NO TA/DA is admissible for attending written and practical examination.
