Depawali has no relation with Shri Ram Dipawali or Diwali means an array of Lamps, rows of Diyas ( Deep = Lamp, Vali = Array). Of all the festivals celebrated in India, Diwali is the most Glamorous and important. This festival is enthusiastically enjoyed by people of every religion. Its magical and radiant touch creates an atmosphere of joy and festivity. There are Many other incidents concerned with celebration of Dipawali. On this day only, Swami Ram Tirth was Born. Lord Mahavir ( Jain Religion Guru) has acheived nirvan on this particular day. Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati has also acheived Nirvan on this day. But 90 percent of Hindus believe that Dipawali is celebrated when Lord Rama , Sita and Laxman returned to ayodhya after 14 years of Exile. But Diwali is celebrated before also, not in lieu of returning of Lord Ram to Ayodhya after 14 years of Exile. If Deepawali is celebrated in Honour of Lord Ramas return to Ayodhya after 14 Years of Exile, then why dont we worship Lord Rama on this particular day ? Why we only worship Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha and Goddess Saraswati ? This is because history of festival Diwali is interlinked with three Maharatri Kalratri ( Janamastmi) , Maharatri ( Shivratri) , Mohratri ( Dipawali). In the present Scenario, every human Being is name- fame conscious. In order to get rid of this darkness (name- Fame Consciousness) , We lighten Lamps of joy and happiness on this particular day. In Hindu Mythology , to remove the darkness and fog of money, name- fame we worship Lord Ganesha, Goddess Laxmi ( in middle) and goddess Saraswati to bring prosperity and happiness in our lives. According to ancient history, festival of diwali is celebrated as and when after the discovery of earth , hawan is organised, in which it was decided to give a part of that hawan to a particular dev. At the same time, Son of Brahma, Bhragu Rishi decided to give apart of that Hawan who is the supreme of all three devtas ( Vishnu, Shiv, Brahma). First of all when Bhragu Rishi went to Brahma, and did some act which made Brahma ji angry. Bhragu thought a man who possess this much of anger cant become supreme. Secondly, he went to Lord Shiv, he repeated the the same act which made Lord Shiv Angry. Lastly he went to lord Vishnu in Baikunth. Lord Vishnu was doing rest on his Shaysh Shaiya in the presence of Laxmi, Narad, Indra and many other Devtas. Bhragu put his leg against Vishnus Body, then also Vishnu ji didnt got angry instead he said that Bhragu your Delicate Feet got wounded due to my Physique. Bhragu feeled ashamed while listening sweet words from Vishnu. Now Bhragu search is completed , but Laxmi got angry after seeing her husband insulted in front of her eyes. She gave a curse to the Brahman that she will not stay in the Brahman House, so everyone residing there will die due ti starvation and will hate you. After saying this Laxmi disappears. Bhragu has also went but Narad as oer his habit told Vishnu that Brahman is most loving to you, if he will die due to hunger then it will be insulting for you. Then Vishnu ji asked what i will do now ? Narad told that you have to abandon Lakshmi instead i will make you marry to million girls. Vishnu said do whatever you want. Narad visited and gathered suitable matches for Vishnu ji. No one will deny to marry Lord Vishnu, In small amount of time, Narad ji Bought 16000 suitable matches for Lord Vishnu. Preparation for marriage ceremony is completed, Lakshmi got tensed to see all this and went to her father, Samudr and narrated all incident to him. Samudr got worried and along with her Daughter Lakshmi went to Vishnu ji and said What is the defect or problem with my daughter that you are planning to abandon her. Narad spoke before Vishnu ji annd said that Our God ( Vishnu ji ) is the supreme of all. Early Morning everyone after leaving bed pray him. But he is not having any child. That is why he is planning to leave Lakshmi. Among these 16000 matches, he can get rid of this defect. Narad told there is onlyone way and time span of one month she hs to bring a son, it can be adopted son also. On the other side due to curse of Lakshmi, Brahman world is facing economic crises. Whole of Brahman Gathered went to Bhragu ji , insulted him then Bhragu ji asked to give him only one months time. In the mean time, Bhragu ji promise to give a thing if that Brahman will possess that thing Lakshmi will return to him. All Brahman went to their home. Now Lakshmi search to adopt a son starts, But narad has visited before Lakshmi to the Universe and said no one will give their son to Lakshmi. She is not stable at one place, she cant be able to manage a Child. Lakshmi went to adopt a sonbut no one is ready to give their son to her. She felt Disheartened. In the last, Lakshmi with her father Samudr went to Kailash Hills on Triyodashi . After Sometimes, they listened some musical voices, Samudr said may be there is some ceremony going on Kailash. we should go there amd may be our purpose will get fulfilled. When both of them went Kailash, they saw that Lord Shiv is about to open his samadhi, thats why there are celebrations going on. When Lakshmi saw Lod Shiv she cried and touched Lord Shivas feet. He told say Lakshmi what you want. She requested i want a son and right now i want that. After mutual understanding, Lord Shiv and Goddess Parvati decided to give Ganesh to Lakshmi and asked to return their son ( Ganesh) when her purpose will get fulfilled. Lakshmi went with Ganesha to Baikunth . On the other side, Bhragu ji discovered a granth which is famous by the nam,e of Bhragu Sanhita, which is an epitome of Goddess Saraswati. Bhragu said that whosoever Brahman possess this vidya, Lakshmi will stay there. In the Libra Sign when sun and moon were together in swati constellation on Amavaysya Lakshmi went with Ganesha. On this day only, Bhragu ji gave Bhragu Sahinta to Brahman World. This is the reason thats why festival of diwali is celebrated and all Devi Devtas Lighten Lamps on this particular Day. Then Narad told Vishnu now what will happen to these 16000 girls if you will not marry them. They will eat me raw. Lord Vishnu told that Narad dont worry, I will take rebirth in Dwapar Yug as Lord Krishna and their wishes will get fulfilled. From this day only, this festival is celebrated. Tantrik on this night itself acheive all powers by worshipping because on this day only Goddess Lakshmi wish get fulfilled, Brahman World got Bhragu Sanhita. Even Lakshmi got Ganesha as a Adopted son, so how it can be impossible for a common man to get his wishes unfulfilled on this day. This is how about the story related with Dipawali.
