Depressing viewing the last 2 hours. Tasked with strengthening the squad and building on the success of last season, it seems Markovic, The Clown, Lambert and Manquillo are in need of lots of attention. Lets start with the Clown. Sterling is far from the finished article. His touch is more off than on and he only looks great when hes running at players not onto balls. However, my gravest concern is the severe lack of confidence. Rodgers needs to inspire the players that have come in that they can get the ball forward quickly and exploit teams. With Sturridge Can and Allen to return, he needs to set the team up and play the way we did last season. Without fear!
