Depression is a very real and very heart-wrenching disease and sometimes, no matter what others can do or have done to intervene, it shuts down the coping mechanisms in a persons mind and makes them feel nothing but darkness and hopelessness. There are good days and bad days, good moments and bad moments and it just hurts not just for them, but for everyone who loves them. Loved ones tend to carry guilt and start blaming themselves - If only I could, or could have.., Whats worse is that sometimes anti-depressants cause suicidal thoughts. During this time of grief for my family, Im asking for special prayers for my daughter. She is being sent hateful messages from people who need to blame someone for the loss of my grandsons father. I am so hurt, so sad and disgusted by this and you can only imagine what my response as a mother wants to be. She is a beautiful mother and I know Forrest would never have wanted her to carry this burden. Please send your prayers so that everyone can grieve in peace.
