Deputies interrupt burglary at Target store! Seminole County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two suspects for burglarizing the Target store located at 820 Oviedo Mall Blvd., in Oviedo. Deputies were dispatched to the store just before 1 a.m. this morning, for a report of a possible burglary in progress. Deputies arrived on scene and witnessed the suspects exit the front of the store with stolen merchandise in their possession. The suspects fled on foot but were quickly spotted by SCSO’s Alert 2 helicopter. One suspect was located in the wooded area adjacent to the store. The second suspect attempted to conceal himself in a nearby retention pond. Both suspects were apprehended with the assistance of Oviedo and Lake Mary Police Department K-9 units. Deputies found the front door of the business was smashed. They also found a large black duffle bag, a hammer and electronic games systems stacked by the front door. Additional stolen property (Xbox and Playstation game consoles, iPads, iPods and other electronic items) were also located in the store’s parking lot. The stolen property and damage to the store is valued at over $12,000. Christopher Ivey, 24, of Ocoee and Ridgh Achille, 23, of Orlando, were arrested and charged with burglary, grand theft and resisting arrest without violence.
