Deputies responded to a home in the 65-hundred block of South West 129th Loop in reference to a domestic disturbance. Victim the victim stated that John Landolfi struck her several times and retrieved a pistol and aimed it at her, placing her in fear. Landolfi was placed under arrest and transported the Gold Star Hotel. Deputy Johnson responded to Community Bank located on North Hwy 441 in reference to a financial fraud. Investigation revealed that the victim was contacted by an unknown person who stated he had won a new car. They told the victim that in order to receive the new car; he had to pay the vehicle taxes with Green Dot cards which the victim did for a total amount of $21,500. This investigation is ongoing. Units responded to Baylee Plaza on South HWY 441 in Summerfield in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon Deputy Schmidt’s arrival and unidentified subject took flight on foot south from a red F150 which was parked behind one of the buildings. Shortly after a second subject was seen in the distance running in a northerly direction but neither were able to be located. It was discovered a utility trailer parked near the truck was broken into and several pieces of lawn equipment valued at $1700 were stolen. This investigation is ongoing.
