Derek Byrne The Irish Government tell you that you must get water meters and water charges because they have them in Europe. They spin the lie that we don`t pay for water even though it is documented that we pay for it twice already (1) CAR TAX 5% was put onto car tax to cover the cost of water ( every time car tax has been increased so has the funding for water (2) VAT RATE 2% was put onto vat to cover the cost of water ( every time vat has been increased so has the funding for water Now your property tax is to fund services, What services are you getting ? Bins Privatised , water will be privatised as much as they say it won`t. Under EU Law they cannot hold a monopoly. So just remember when they dish out all these allowances for water, they won`t last. Ask anyone who had allowances for their bins. They are now gone. If we are to use European countries as an example like the Irish Government do They have lower vat rates, get services for their property tax etc So should we also get these lower taxes ? Well they have them in Europe. Our lowlife Taoiseach insults us by referring to us as the good boys of Europe. ( What a patronising prick ) What did we get for being the good boys of Europe ? We got to pay 42% of it`s banking debt. The Greeks failed to meet or pay any of it`s targets and can be referred to the Bad boys of Europe. What did they get ? (You may think they paid the other 58% but no they had 50% of their Banking debt written off Why did the BAD BOYS get 50% debt written off and the GOOD BOYS paid 42% of European banking debt ? Well you see the Greeks took to the streets in their Millions and took no shit. They rose up to be counted. Then you have us The Irish who sat on our arses, whined and moaned about everything. When our corrupt political elite came to force us to pay for everything , we done nothing. Well you did you all sat back and laughed and attacked those of us that stood up. You whined because we marched on your streets and held up your buses and delayed the traffic. You whined when we stood on your roads to fight the water charges and water meters. You whined because you wanted your water meters and didn`t want an assessed bill even though your government refuse to disclose how much water is going to cost. So with less that two years to go to the 2016 centenary of the Easter Rising. You whingers will all be out inforce to declare how proud you are to be Irish. Tell us what will you celebrate ? EMIGRATION,SUICIDE,AUSTERITY,WATER CHARGES,WATER METERS, PROPERTY TAX ETC You won`t be celebrating independence as you are more oppressed now than your grandparents were in 1916 Even then they had the same problem. It was the Minority that stood up and they were laughed at, spat on and ridiculed. IRELAND GROW A SET OF BALLS.
