Derek really is out of the Woods....this is him yesterday after returning from the vet, thanks to Becky Reed for dropping by so I could see him..(I have been bound to the house with a Yoga group and was so happy to see him - so apologise for my silly faces)....but this trip to the vet was once again, with so much apprehension, as his chances were so low. However, although half his size, he lost so much weight, he has started eating again and his chances are now very strong..he has beaten that 20%. I cannot emphasise enough what a nice dog he is, he has such charácter and he was so determined to survive. ( you need to meet him to appreciate it). He is still looking for his forever home, he really does deserve it.....thank you to Emma, who was with the group staying here, she was so taken with Derek and his plight that she wants to sponsor and raise funds for his treatment......thank you to VETS HAPPY PETS for your care and we are so happy that he now will almost certainly get through this....
